I've never experienced the level of incompetence and poor customer services that I encountered with UPS this week. I had a package scheduled to be delivered - no signature required.

I left the drive a note two days in a row asking him to leave the package, with very specific instructions on where to leave it. When he failed to leave the package on the third try, I called the 1-800 number to complain. I talked to multiple people, was disconnected more than once and then was finally told he was coming back that nigh to deliver it. I canceled my plans and waited for him.

He never came. Four hours later, I called to find out my package was on its way back to the shipper and it was the driver's choice whether to leave it. And there's nothing I can do.

No apology. No attempt at fixing the situation.
