I ordered expensive infused olive oil from Amazon who entrusted UPS to deliver it. The package arrived empty.
It was in a plastic bubble-wrap lined envelope. The envelope had been obviously torn open and the bottles removed. I was home when the package was delivered and we have a special plastic container for packages. It was delivered in broad daylight and placed in the container out of sight.
Think about it...this is how UPS drivers are stealing without getting caught now that everyone has installed cameras on their porches. They open the package, steal its contents then appear to deliver it. When you call UPS to report it, they try to blame it on damage during delivery. Nice try!
Even if the plastic envelope could be accidentally ripped straight across the top, the glass bottles would have leaked olive oil everywhere. Who the heck steals olive oil?
WTF? Amazon refunded my money no questions asked.
