Pay UPS Store #4441, Davie, Florida, to package, insure, & deliver an antique light. UPS damages one glass part beyond repair.
I make the claim. I'm willing to have a duplicate glass piece made; they investigate and learn its not possible. This is a 90 year old piece and is not replaceable. UPS wants the whole lamp to be given to them in order for me to get my insurance claim.
Despite the promise from the local UPS store that they would not confiscate the item. This has been going on for 4 months.
I call the main UPS corporate offices and they defer to the store. Anyone else know where to go for resolution?
