I had a package shipped from NY to MD. A UPS driver picked up the package on Nov.
26, 2012 and it was never delivered. The package had inventory that was to be sold during the Holiday Season. I filed a claim with UPS and I'm distraught by the way the UPS representatives are so nonchalant about the fact that my package was picked up by their driver and never delivered. They respond as if they are doing me a favor in offering me less than 1% of what the value of my package is worth.
My Loss exceeds $15,000 in inventory.
I now understand that purchasing insurance is not just to cover loss due to damage or theft after delivery from UPS. You need to purchase insurance to be insured from loss, damage or theft from UPS the company that's hired to do what is expected of them, and that is to deliver our packages.
