I RECIEVED A PACKAGE FROM THE STATES, I M IN CANADA

THEY HAD A CHARGE OF $157.00 FOR A PACKAGE THAT WAS WORTH $30

WHEN I LOOKED INTO IT I FOULD THE SHIPPER PUNCHED IN THE VALUE AT $650

I PHONE UPS THEY SAID GET THE SHIPPER TO SEND THE ORIGINAL INVOICE AND PACKING SLIP

TO A FAX NUMBER.

I DID

PHONED BACK IN A COUPLE OF DAYS

UPS SAID IT WOULD TAKE 10 BUSINESS DAYS

SO I WAITED AND PHONED BACK

UPS, AFTER PUTTING ME ON HOLD FOR OVER 5 MINS

UPS COMES BACK AND SAYS FOR A $15 FEE WE CAN FIX MY OVER CHARGE

I SAID WHY SHOULD I PAY A FEE I DIDNT MAKE A MISTAKE OTHER THAN LETTING ANYONE SHIP WITH UPS

I TOLD UPS TO GO AFTER THE SHIPPER THEMSELVES

UPS TOLD ME I CAN CONTACT THE SHIPPER AND GET THEM TO PAY ME THE FEE THAT UPS CHARGED ME

I SAID WHAT IF THEY DONT, ITS NOT LIKE THEY ARE ANYWHERE CLOSE TO ME THAT I CAN DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT

I SAID I WONT PAY YOUR FEE GET IT OFF THE SHIPPER BESIDES

NOBODY MENTION A FEE WHEN I FIRST CALLED UPS

SO HERE I AM

I CANT GET MY MONEY BACK UNTIL I PAY THEM A FEE..... I CALL THAT EXTORTION

NOW WHAT????

it's a customs fee being charged to you by your own government
