We are constantly misbilled due to their errors. Our most recent problem with UPS is their online system would not process our bill of lading for some unknown reason.
Their driver gave us the form to fill out. The shipment was billed 3rd party. A month later we received a bill for the shipment because they lost the bill of lading. To fix their problem we need to call their customer to get authorization to transfer the fees.
The supervisor, Peter in Tampa (ID #TPA2345) was patronizing and unhelpful, basically saying, I know we made a mistake but there is nothing we can do to fix it. You need to spend the time getting authorization to transfer the charges. Fed Ex would never put their customers through this. For one, their system would work and secondly, they would make an effort to resolve the problem.
This is not the first time we've had this problem with UPS. We dread it when our customers require us to use their account number.
