Well, at least they lost it and you might be able to file a claim.

I am living a nightmare right now because of UPS. Their driver come and doesn't ring my bell leave a return card and that happened for two days in a row. I was home the whole time, when you ring the intercom, it rings on my cell phone which work just fine.

I called UPS to file a complaint about that and report the delivery to the next monday since I absolutely had to go to the office the next day. They told me they can't deliver to a nearby UPS Store because they are franchises, so I decided just to be patient. They told me a supervisor would call me back, which never happened, but I didn't mind about that, I tought I was getting my package on Monday. On monday morning, I checked the UPS website and tracked my package. It was shown as schedule for that day. I printed a sheet in case the driver does not understand that you had to input 115 on the intercom to reach me and left it where he usually leave the paper when you are not there. ***, its not that complicated, various guys from convenience stores, taxi drivers and friends use the intercom without any instruction and they managed just fine so far without any remarks or instructions.

Guess what? The driver did not come on Monday. So I called UPS at 8pm, and the lady told me a supervisor would call me in the morning before 10am to solve my issue. No one called me and it was now 10:15 so I called UPS once again.

After repeating my updated story for the third time, I finally got a hand of a UPS supervisor who put me in hold and reached the driver, who confirmed he would come today. The guy sounded pretty nice and cooperative, and he told me if the package was not delivered in the middle of the afternoon, he would call the driver and give me an update.

Well, guess what? The package did not arrive in the afternoon and nobody called me. I waited until 5:45PM and called back UPS once again. After giving my tracking number to the clerk, I asked nicely to him if I could speak to a supervisor. He told me he couldn't transfer me to a supervisor but not to worry, the delivery was confirmed with the driver and it was a sure thing he would come.

It is 7:05PM and yet UPS hasn't come. The package shows it is on the truck just like yesterday. UPS gives an execrable customer service, never respect they promises (or lie bluntly) and have no respect whatsoever to their customer's time.

Monetary Loss: $200.

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Same thing here. It's on the truck, but it never arrives...

I finally got my package and asked kindly the driver how come he never rang the bell (it is actually an intercom that forwards the call to my cell phone, so there is no reason to ask him to ring "several times" !).

The driver excuse was too honest to be true, he told me that he misread the appartment number on both time. Since the address is UPS Printed and always uses the same typo, it is clearly hard to believe that the driver was not reading my address right.

You can call the customer service number and pick up the package yourself from the center where the driver works. Usually you can pick up packages as late as 8:00 pm.

Or put a note on your door that you are HOME and please ring bell multiple times. UPS drivers do not like to have to reattempt deliveries.

if you're unlucky enough to have something that has to be FedEx'ed to you, and your work schedule prevents you from ever being there when a driver arrives, you basically will NEVER get your package until you physically drive over to their depot!

And the best part... FedEx is *** enough to keep loading your freaking package into one of their trucks and drive that around town all day everyday, until you jump through a million hoops to get them to stop it! lol

oh, and each time I would call UPS they would tell me that it shows it is "in transit" to be sent to Vancouver. It wasn't until the 4th or 5th time I called that they finally told me the wrong zip code was on the package.

I see how you feel about UPS. I had a phone sent from Sprint to my daughter just 4 hours drive from here, said they would send it 2nd day air and she was supposed to get it last week.

*** kid at Sprint wrote the correct address down, but when he put the label on the box I guess he put a wrong digit for the zip code and I am sitting here with the tracking number watching it go back and forth from Spokane, WA to Hermiston, OR, at one point it actually got to Portland, OR which is right outside Vancouver, WA where it is supposed to go, and idiots there sent it back to Hermiston who sent back to Spokane. And every time I call them they tell me that it goes through an automated machine and the machine does not look at the city or state, just the zip code. Do they realize how retarded that sounds? If that were true then the package would be in Mammoth, WA because that is the zip code the *** at Sprint put on the package.

And not once did this package go to Mammoth, just back and forth mainly from Hermiston to Spokane several times now. And they won't allow me to change the zip code because ONLY the sender can do that. Have you ever had to deal with Sprint? They are as bad as UPS.

They refuse to send my daughter a new phone and say it is UPS fault that they can't get it to the right place with the city and state, and after 3 calls to Sprint they finally claimed to have called UPS and straightened it out. Yet according to the tracking number it is still sitting in Spokane which is complete opposite from where it is supposed to be. Even the post office has enough sence to figure out if the zip code is wrong then to look at the city and state. Or at least send it back to the sender.

UPS won't even send it back to Sprint. Idiots!
