I live one mile from a UPS facility in Sulphur Springs, TX. I ordered my wifes Christmas presents from amazon.
Tracking kept showing delayed but also that they were right here in our hometown. I went to the UPS office and was told that my packages were in a trailer right outside the door but it would not be unloaded until Thursday. There were many pissed off customers there at the same time most of which had also ordered from Amazon.
If UPS actually cared about customer service they would have unloaded the trailer and let customers go ahead and pick up their packages themselves. If UPS was so overloaded why didn't Amazon switch carriers?
