Our supplier shipped parts to us using our UPS acct. number and insured them for $400.00. We received an empty box. They refused to honor the claim; with no explanation.

After having this happen a few times over the years, I have come to the conclusion that it is a plan: If the recipient has optioned to accept delivery without a signature, they will not honor your claim. They don't tell you that, but it appears to be true. In any event, they *** out of the insurance payments by refusing to honor claims.

They are just another cheating predator; they have you by the balls.

If you have anything of value to ship, use FEDEX or even the USPO.

I absolutely agree. I have NEVER EVER had a pleasant experience with UPS.

On THREE occasions, it took me over 1 year to resolve claims, all of which were for $100 or less.

Each case involved the package being delivered to the wrong address and UPS was never able to find it. EVERY TIME I go the runaround and had to talk to multiple people and received different answers from each and every one I was transferred to.


They probably think you're trying to rip them off lol.
