I drove 150 miles to UPS depot in Baileyville, Maine, to pick up a notified as received shipment.There was no clerk there at 4:15 PM on Friday the 27th of September 2013, (which is supposed to be a scheduled time when it is manned).

Another person in the building (a mechanic) told me that the UPS Service clerk did not come in to work that day and the manager had been peviously advised but that there was no temporary replacement "because UPS would not hire one". I faced another 600 miles of driving to come back on another day. I had a shipment arrival notice that my shipment was in, but could not determine where it was. Poor, sloppy and unreliable performance!.

I am dismayed.UPS does not list a complaints telephone number on their website
