UPS is worthless. I won't use them anymore either for the same reason.

Every package I've ever received through them was damaged. If anything I'm considering ordering online has to come by UPS I just cancel out the order before I even reach checkout. USPS is even worse. It's either crushed or lost.

DHL is unreliable and I avoid them like the plague. Fed-X is alright as long as it isn't one of their contracted drivers. If it is a contracted driver then your residential property or vehicle(s) are likely to have damage before they leave your premises. I've had the same contracted driver show up twice in recent weeks and she came within inches of backing into both my vehicles both times.

I literally had to yell at her to stop to keep her from backing into them yesterday. Then she wanted to get an attitude with me because I yelled for her to stop. Plus she tore up my grass by turning around in it instead of the driveway and left deep ruts in the ground because of heavy rain we've had.

Now I've got damage to repair because of her sorry driving. I'm sure Fed-X will deny any claim I make because she isn't a regular UPS driver.

Don't do it | UPS in Carmel, New York

Multiple packages delayed for days because of "severe weather". 4 days after we got 3 inches of snow. 50 degrees and agreeable today. Still no packages. UPS is horrible, will never order anything from any site that uses UPS again.

Details
I have had problems for many months getting a critical medication delivered by UPS, I have complained many times to no avail. My spouse requires a critical medication costing $9500 a month. The insurance will not authorize it until only a few pills are left, UPS does not deliver in time for the medication to be administered in spite of the fact the pharmacy makes it an urgent overnight delivery. It was supposed to be here today by 10:30AM. It is now 2:30PM and the package is not delivered.This is a perpetual problem that has never been resolved over the past year. Because this is a specialty drug, local pharmacy.

You might try complaining to your insurance company to explain the problem. You might also request they ship via FedEx instead of UPS.

You might also, prior to calling the insurance company, take a look at your info from them regarding problems, appeals, and complaints and what to do when you have a problem with them. You can also complain to your state's insurance agency----the one that regulates these companies.
