UPS in Sacramento, California - Terrible customer service telephone accounts

If you ever try to contact customer service you will speak to a bunch of MUSH HEADS in the Philippines where you cant understand a word they say. When you try to get in touch with someone in the CEO office to complaint you are wasting your time. This company does not care about resolving billing problems or customer service. You can call and waste your time. I hope AMAZON GETS INTO THE SHIPPING BUSINESS AND THE STOCK OF THIS POORLY RUN COMPANY GOES INTO THE TOILET

Somebody used my UPS account by error. I called UPS twice to solve the problem, they said it will be solved. Citibank reimbursed me the money so then UPS sent me to collections. Please note that this is for a package I didn't sent and I didn't received, is somebody else's, as it appears in the invoice. It took 5 months to solve the issue and the customer service was very very rude. If this happen to me, It can happen to you. Please be aware if you don't want unwanted charges in your account and several hours at the phone. No wonder UPS has 1 star rating.

UPS in Miami, Florida - International Shipping

I have an online business where I receive orders from Canada paid via Paypal for the merchandises..However, the customer chose to use his business account with UPS to pay for his shipment. Somehow, UPS was not able to use their clients account because it was close. In turn, UPS opened an account under my company name without my authorization and billed me instead of reaching out to their client in Canada to advise them that their account is no longer active. Is this legal? I am very upset. Please someone tell me how I should proceed. They have the audacity to charge late fees.

UPS Change Delivery online NOT POSSIBLE

A word of warning: If you get an email from UPS saying your order has been dispatched and you click on the 'Change Delivery' button this leads you to their website. You then have to 'enrol' in the UPS My Choice option. However, they then have to send you an activation code IN THE POST in 2-5 days to validate your address. This means that you CANNOT change your delivery before the parcel is likely to be delivered. Another thing I discovered when speak to UPS technical support is that unless the package you have ordered has your EXACT name and address details as on your UPS My Choice account (including line spaces, hyphens, capital letters), it will not be registered as a My Choice parcel and therefore not show up on your delivery planner. This means you are also unable to change the delivery options online. Although there is an option on the My Settings of UPS My Choice to add first name variations, there is no way to add any other variations. The UPS technical support person acknowledged both these issues to be true and apologized, but did not suggest there was a solution available. Therefore I have had to call up 3 times due to a failed delivery which I could not change online before the delivery was made.

UPS in Mableton, Georgia - Lost/Delayed Package

I ordered some books from my school bookstore on December 28, the books were supposed to arrive on January 4. I did not receive any email about when the books were supposed to arrive so I called the bookstore on January 9 since school was resuming on the 11th to enquire about my order and I was told that it should have arrived via UPS, so I called UPS, UPS said they have to conduct an investigation that is going to take six business days, I called more than ten times, one thing I realized is that whenever I called I have to start my explanation from the beginning, nothing of interest is being noted in my account. I told them that I no longer need the books after the 14th because that is when registration is closing and I have to drop the class by the 14th since I already missed a couple of assignments due to their negligence and that I would want my money back. I paid about $300 for these books. Someone dropped the books at my door on the 15th when I have no use for it and I asked them to pick it up since the bookstore now refuses to take the books. I still have the books because I don't know how to resolve this, do I lose $300 because of UPS negligence, they are acting as if it is my problem, nobody is saying anything about the employee's incompetence.

UPS in Johannesburg, Gauteng - Misrepresentation, theft and unprofessional

I recently sent a package to South Africa and when I called to find out about the amount I had to pay for my package I was told it was R 826 on their system. I then authorised them to debit my card with this amount. After about an hour I saw R1 826 come off my account which was 1000 over what was communicated to me. Then I called to ask what was happening and Marverick the one who had debited my account hung up the phone on me when I asked him why they took more money off my account than authorised. UPS had no right to take this money off and when I called to speak to the supervisor and explain my situation he explained it away saying that their system was wrong then I asked him what their procedure was to make payment and he said they check system then invoice then alert the customer of the amount owed. I called to make payment and this procedure was not followed apparently as I was only told of R826 and authorised this amount but now I had been stolen from. This is not right and not legal. Noone should be able to do this and UPS needs to correct this. THIS IS HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL and UPS should also train your staff to deal with customers and also data capture accurately.

UPS extremely poor, worse lately

I have a commercial shipping account with UPS. They ship about 175 to 250 shipments for our websites monthly. Lately 80% of the shipments are delayed. The quantum view email updates that they send always say one of only about 4 things that they can choose from to say. They are never what actually happened though. A common one is that the address is incorrect or an apartment number is missing and they are attempting to get it corrected. That is almost always untrue. They blame weather when there is none, they say they left it on the truck unloaded, for days at a time!

I ordered a messenger bag for my girlfriend online for christmas. Well the site i went through to buy the bag used UPS. Well its been about a week since the order and now they're saying they need me to send more info about where i live or change the shipping address. I go online, open an account with them, track my order, and try to change the shipping address. My order isn't even in the same county as where i live and they're saying they can't find my home. Well, now they're also saying i have to pay them $40 a year to change the shipping address on ONE package. Why should i have to pay for a mistake that your company made for not even attempting to find my home?

UPS in Queens, New York - Driver refuses to deliver, customer service is anything but helpful

I have a package coming from the pet crematorium that requires signature. Someone is always home before 10:30 am and after 4:30 pm. driver refuses to deliver within that time frame and also refuses to leave the package with the signed authorization. This is the same driver who leaves $4k package carelessly on the floor to the building entrance, not even at apartment door. The customer service rep Zima can not help by making a note on the account asking to come to deliver after 4:30pm, and the supervisor Karen was rude and also said she can not do anything to help this. there is no alternative as i can not make it to some UPS holding facility
