At one time, UPS was a respected reliable company. Now I avoid them as much as possible because they seem to have forgotten the meaning of customer service.
I am partially disabled and often order merchandise online, primarily from Amazon.com, because I cannot get around very well. Packages shipped via UPS are never delivered to me. They are left with a neighbor. This means that I must find someone to retrieve them.
Since I live on a cattle ranch with a population of about 20 humans scattered over a large area, this is inconvenient for me and for the people I ask. I have sent messages and talked on the phone with UPS and they assure me that they will deliver correctly, but nothing ever changes.
I have contacted Amazon and requested that they not ship my items via UPS, if possible. For all future deliveres, I will file a claim for all items not delivered to my door.
