Airline ticket was sent via UPS 2day air on Wed Dec 26 for arrival on Friday Dec 28, but did not arrive in time for reserved SWA standby reservation. Since standby tickets are so limited around new year holiday, the seats are no longer available when UPS will deliver the ticket on Monday afternoon.

No help from 800-service or local UPS office. UPS could have sent it overnight when they had a mechanical breakdown and realized the letter would not arrive on time.

Next I will use FedEx.

To make the trip I had to use milage-based ticket on AA, which fortunately still had some room left.
