Costco had a last minute gift deal with express overnight shipping with UPS. UPS received the package in time for normal overnight delivery but they, by their own admission "miss-sorted" my Christmas gift.
They found their error and scheduled it for delivery the day after Christmas even though there is time for a Saturday delivery. They refused to do so because they do not do Saturday delivery "Overnight Express" even when it is their fault a delay was created. Contacted customer service and tried to escalate...pound salt. Terrible customer service = pissed consumer = social media = 1000 nodding heads who will not choose UPS.
For me, USPS is the most reliable, trustworthy, cost-effective package shipper in the US. Tell Congress to keep their hands off this precious quasi-public treasure.
