I shipped a package from a UPS store and when the package arrived at its destination, the box was dissolved and was falling apart. It looked as though some UPS employee placed it in a snow bank and just let it sit for a long time...

The package was in its original box and was well packaged in plastic wrapping and foam. Nonetheless, with the box in as bad of shape as it was, it did not matter how much I wrapped the parcel. Once the box is disintegrated, it will not do well at protecting the contents. Oh, and they also dropped the package so the contents were of course broken.

Make's sense, right? Well, not to UPS claims department apparently. They denied both of my claims to have this parcel covered.

They deliberately denied responsibility for leaving this package in a puddle or snow and told me this was an "inadequately packaged item". UPS policy: "{{Redacted}} 'em, am I right?"

Product or Service Mentioned: Ups Standard Delivery Service.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $130.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I didn't like: Lack in responsibility.
