The store clerk said ' ups stores do not ship gun parts'.

It's a plastic part.

She said it was franchise policy?

Well my policy is that I dont do business with antigun slimebag companies.

I changed to a PO-BOX and saved a lot of money by NOT using a UPS store. My box fee went from 156$ at UPS store, to 70$ at USPS.

You redneck. UPS Stores are not allowed to ship any gun parts. Not the stores fault.

You can ship them at the UPS HUB through.

UPS Stores are not allowed to ship firearms or firearm parts.

Only UPS Corporate locations are authorized to ship firearms or firearm parts.

Receivers and frames are not accepted by UPS for shipment

Go to the UPS Website, and in the searchbox put in shipping firearms, covers most of the rules.

UPS accepts firearm parts for shipment, provided the part is not a "firearm" as defined under federal law; the contents of the package cannot be assembled to form a firearm; and the package otherwise complies with federal, state, and local law. (Note: Receivers or frames of a firearm are considered "firearms" and are accepted for transportation only if shipped in accordance with UPS's requirements for shipping firearms; firearm mufflers and silencers are not accepted for transportation.)

I love how one franchise makes the entire company "anti-gun slimebags". Yes, each franchise has it's own rules as far as what they will/will not accept but obviously this is not the policy of UPS as a whole.

Not shipping firearm parts is a The UPS Store corporate policy network wide.Franchisees would be in violation of their franchise agreement and could lose their ability to operate by shipping said parts.

And FYI, UPS owns The UPS Store franchise, so they actually do make the rules for the entire network. You lose.
