Paid to have UPS store pack a guitar, thinking that might help insure safe passage.No luck -- in spite of box and bubblewrap, case was crushed, as if it had been thrown 15 ft.

onto hard concrete. And now UPS wants to deny claim because of poor packing -- their packing!!! Turns out that the "UPS stores" are owned by Mailboxes etc., so both companies can blame each other for the damage. UPS customer care is hands down the most dysfunctional I've ever encountered.

Different answers from every employee, broken promises, dropped balls, missed deadlines.

Four weeks and counting, hours and hours on the phone, still no resolution.If you're shipping anything fragile, stay far, far away from UPS.

Monetary Loss: $400.
