No joke, I made over 20 e-mails and had to call over 10 times.
I wanted to return our engagement ring to the company in the UK for resizing. The consignment remained blocked at customs.
Although it was correctly declared (I even asked beforehand whether everything was correct). The documents from the original purchase were also enclosed. Customs & UPS nevertheless blocked the consignment and demanded import costs from the company in the UK. The company and I tried to explain the situation to UPS and UPS customs several times.
No realisation of a mistake. We were told that we should just pay this. A refund seemed impossible. So after a month we asked for the parcel to be returned to Switzerland.
Then we finally got the ring back. Then came the surprise shortly afterwards: return costs and customs invoices fluttered into my letterbox from UPS on consecutive days... Why? I askedd for an explanation, describe the situation over 15 times in writing and also by phone to UPS.
No correction. I receive reminders and final reminders. A reminder stop is confirmed to me via e-mail. but when I call nobody can see it.
It is not possible to speak to the department responsible for dunning stops. It is not possible to speak to superiors. In addition, contact information on letters from UPS is outdated and invalid.
Employees hang up the phone when there is no solution in sight for them. No way to escalate the case.

Yesterday at 12:13 UPS driver puts my package inside my fence beside public sidewalk where anyone can reach over walking bye and take my package first time that has happened and I pray the driver will walk packages to my porch from now on You don't leave someone's package in the yard at the gate where someone can just reach over a 3 ft tall fence and grab I live in S.E. Roanoke where the homeless situation is out of control not to mention the drugs and high crime around here I thank God it was still there an hour and a half later. TODAY looks like same driver on my camera He left my package at my neighbors across the street and her package on my porch goodgrief so disappointed in this driver
Preferred solution: I would love for my packages to be left on my porch somewhat out of sight I have plenty of room and an area beside my lighthouse mail box to do that

Preferred solution: Gas money and an apology. Change the policy. If you're using a ups label , ups should print it for free!

UPS is being asked to correct, retrain and sanction "Gavin" and the seemingly illiterate UPS employee that works with him. This request, and its related official complaint, rose from an attempt to send a package around 1:35pm CST at a UPS Store (4741 Central St., Kansas City, Missouri 64112). I have done lots of business with UPS and rarely had my legal rights violated in these unforgivable ways, never been told to leave a UPS store nor had UPS security/local police called by an employee who that was not even part of the transaction/cannot read.
