UPS - We've been left in the dust

We've been a commercial UPS customer for about 20 years now. We spent over $100,000 with them last year. One would think that if we had an invoice being disputed someone would call before sending it to collections. That didn't happen. This was one of our air freight invoices that was partially paid because the bill didn't match the quote. We try to get someone to care, but no one does. It's just amazing to me that a long time customer who always pays on time gets treated like dirt.

UPS - An unpleasant surprise

UPS must be out of their minds. Today I shipped a 14 lb package. I had them put it in a box, add packing material and insure it for $3,000 ship it to Tennessee. $175 . Is that ridiculous or not ?

I spent 60 hrs sculpting a ship from the Matrix & the recipient posted a picture of it in pieces despite the box being covered in FRAGILE. I know the conveyor belts can’t read, but perhaps that should be looked into i.e. policy stating objects marked fragile are never put on conveyors and handled gently by people. It was super glued to the base but came unglued so it was either thrown or dropped a great distance. How can you be a world postal organization if people can’t send fragile objects???

I'm always surprised that people still order "irreplaceable", expensive items for delivery. There are too many "what-ifs" in the delivery process regardless of whether you use UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc.

I would never have something this expensive shipped. I would buy in person or just not make the purchase at all.
