On April 2023, I scheduled and pre-paid for a package pickup from my home and asked for the UPS driver to bring the printed label. Twice, the driver went to my home without the label. I had to buy a printer just to print the label for the driver. Upon pick up, I asked for tape to attach the label on the box. The UPS driver said he would take the package to his truck and tape the label on the box. The UPS driver said that I did not need anything else from him and did not provide me with proof of pickup. 2 days later, I received an email that my UPS shipping was cancelled, with no reason why. I called UPS customer service 4 times and after being on the phone for over 50 minutes on each call and being transferred to different departments, no one was able to assist. After the 8th call totaling 50 minutes on each call, I was able to get a claim completed. I submitted EVERYTHING requested from my end, confirmation emails, shipping confirmation, shipper number, etc. I was told that someone would call me back. No one ever called. I had to continue calling to receive an update. After the 12th call to the claims department, I was told that my claim for the lost package was approved and that I would receive a check via the mail in 10-15 business days. The refund would not for the $200 that the package is worth, but for $100. Although I'm loosing money, I just wanted my refund. After the 15 business days past and no check, I called back. They said my claim was not approved because they do not have proof of pickup. I explained that the driver did not provide me with any paper proof and still the response is that they have no way in confirming pick up. I asked what my options were to get this proof. UPS actually advise me to flag down a UPS driver on my street to ask where my package is, "SMH". So, I took the video from my ring cam with audio and snipped pictures to send to UPS as proof. Still wasn't sufficient for UPS and they denied my claim for the 3rd time. On the 18th call to the claims department and after speaking to supervisors only, I was told that the claim was approved. Again, the 10-15 days passed and no check in the mail as promise. I called a 19th time, again the same claim denied response because there was no proof of pick up. It's like I'm going in circles here. This is a $200 valued package, in which not even the pickup fee has been refunded and I'm supposed to just loose my $200 due to the incapability to have an offshore department and no proper system to track where my package is or have the decency to process a refund? This is beyond comprehension. UPS literally stole my package.
