The UPS store in Yorba Linda charged over 330.00 for shipping an item in a crate. That night, someone at the store took the item out of the crate and into a cardboard box.

They then cancelled the original transaction and pocketed the refund. A new transaction was created at a much lower price. How can i tell? the tracking number is not the same as the one on the receipt.

The package was damaged in transit due to the crappy cardboard box. Worst part of it? UPS will only deal with the UPS store about the claim. The store will just tell you that your claim was denied for poor packaging.

Never use UPS stores. Go to the UPS depot or use the FEDEX stores.

Monetary Loss: $1300.
