We had an on-line order from Fry's that was a box containing 1000 feet of CAT5e cable delivered via UPS on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. It was delivered sometime after 4:30 PM.
The delivery person did not notify us of the delivery (we were home), and they left the delivery at the bottom of our stairs, right by our driveway. We live on a hill so our garage is at that level, but our front door is up a set of steps. Appears the steps were just too much for the delivery person to carry the box up to our front door. This left the box down below & subject to being taken by anyone who happened to notice it, or subject to the weather.
Luckily for us, we found it around 9:30 PM when we just happened to go out front. (And it DID rain that night at our house.) With such sloppy delivery I can understand why so many packages disappear. If they couldn't bring themselves to carry the package up to us, they could at least have walked to the front door to ring the doorbell and tell us what they were doing so that we senior citizens could heft the somewhat heavy package into the garage immediately.
Very disappointed in UPS.
This person wrote the review because of poor customer service at Ups. Reviewer claimed that he or she wants Ups to read this review and look into the issue (if any).
Author liked the most its just this order i am very upset with ups about. If you have a chance, please contact him/ her to briefly discuss his/ her negative experience with the company.
