My passport was stolen by UPS and an empty package was sent back!!! Unbelievable!
The envelope was carefully cut open by a UPS employee.
Exactly the same thing happened to me.
The envelope was sent from the government SSA Pasadena office.
In this COVID-19 time, they processed all by mail. UPS driver delivered without ringing doorbell and getting signature which we were all home. Called two times both ladies said filed investigations for me but gave me no claim number.
Told me I will get email notification and a week past received no message and phone call. I took an hour filed UPS claim online as lost.
it wont take my claim because tracking showed delivered.
So I filed as damage and uploaded pictures, and it was declined as they cant accept my claim.
**** Funny, its only 20 mins drive from SSA office. If you cant trust a UPS truck in 10 miles with 2nd Day Air, how can you trust them in Wall Street?
If they can ignore the US Government, what other things cant they do?
User's recommendation: UPS is not what you think! Can’t trust. Use USPS.
