My dad sent me a package through his business for next day air. The package made it to within 30 minutes of me but was not delivered for 7 days.
When I called and spoke with them they told me the trucks had been full so my package did not made it out as previously planned. When I asked if I could pick it up from the facility they said that it would not be possible since it had not been marked as a delivery that could be handled on Saturdays. This meant that it was locked up on a trailer with no access except for Monday through Friday.
They also told me the money would not be refunded to the shipper because it was a business and "not my issue". When I asked if they could just return it to the sender they said that would not be a problem but the business/sender would have to pay for it.
