It is the last time I will use UPS after two bad experience with this company.
First UPS "lost" a parcel for me from the USA to PNG three years ago.
I tried again this month with a shipment from the USA to France. The parcel took two days and one night to reach France but was stocked during one full week in UPS France warehouse of Corbeil Essonne without any changes in the tracking.
Programmed delivery was for the 20/05 and staid fixed without changes up to the 25th where UPS France attempted to verify my address. 2nd delivery planned for the 26th and did not happen. Third planned delivery the 27th and I cannot be available at the time UPS wants to deliver. There are no ways to change the hours, no way to contact somebody, the call centre is not answering or put me on a wait during more than half an hour and then disconnect (note that the call centre is not a free call but a paid one).
According to the tracking, it is one week that my parcel is travelling around my place and never reached the destination. Tracking told me that the parcel was in Bouillargues 30230. This morning I went to see the only UPS collection point in town. Nobody heard about my parcel.
As Bouillargues is only a small town there are no other place UPS could store the parcel but the tracking tells me that the parcel is in the town: A lie once more. I paid 79 US$ for the shipping of an item costing 73 US$ because I needed the Items urgently. One week after the parcel is not delivered and nobody can answer to my queries or delivery instructions. There are no ways to contact UPS France in direct similarly to FedEx for example that has phones numbers mentioned for all their warehouses.
Websites make you turn around and allow you only pre-programmed changes without any considerations for the needs of the customer. UPS France is useless indeed.
User's recommendation: Warning UPS France is very expensive and does not deliver the service. Better use DHL or FedEx or even the national postal service.
