UPS lost my passport.. i actually strongly believe carrier at some point sold my US passport to criminals, who abuse stolen passport for the human trafficing and smuggling and to commit crimes.

UPS is responsible if someone 's passport is lost or stolen.

I shipped my passport UPS and few days later UPS told me that my passport is stolen and/or Lost.

I called customer service at UPS which is horrible . Rep will be sitting in Honduras or some other latin american or carribean country who will not help at all. Also They will waste 15 days in the name of investigation, and prevent you from reporting to authorities about your lost or stolen passport. So that criminals and international gangs have ample time to misuse your passport to commit criminal activities on your passport. Later , UPS will say after 15 days that your passport is lost/stolen and say sorry. It is organized crime..
