I placed an order for some cups from a china ware company. They filled my order and sent it to me via UPS.
I used thr UPS tracking system to determine when I could expect my package and discovered it had already been delivered the day before. I did not receive the package. When I checked the notice of delivery more carefully I saw that it had been left in the garage. I DON'T HAVE A GARAGE.
My issue is that UPS will only communicate with the company that shipped the package, not with me.
If it had been a friend who shipped a package to me and it got lost it would make sense for UPS to deal with them since they would be the one paying for the service. The price of the goods I purchased included shipping and handling, so I am UPS' customer and I deeply resent being treated like this issue is none of my business.
