I ordered toys for my grandchildren from Toys R Us for Christmas. Our long term UPS driver always puts the UPS deliveries in the garage as he has done for 19 years and never a problem.
I operate a home based business and get up to 10 UPS packages per week. The extra Christmas help driver just dropped the packages with the toys at the "front door" according to the tracking info (visible and close to road to be easly stolen). When I did not receive them I called and filed a claim, they insinuated I probably got them and was just trying to scam them and said it was there perogative to leave them in the middle of the street if they chose to do so. Also since I filed a claim they would now make me sign for every delivery which will be impossible since I travel with my work.
I am so angry their incompetence spoiled my Grandchildrens Christmas and they want to punish me for their poor judgment. Fed Ex from now on for sure!!!!
