A parcel from UPS arrived at my door No signature NO request for payment and NO paperwork NO option to refuse or even ‘self clear’, the courier guy did not ask for anything, Apparently a gift sent from a distant relative abroad. Three weeks later I received an invoice from UPS for duties.
why would I have to pay duty on a gift under $60 sent to me with my knowing?
I contacted Ups and they refuse to credit, I do not think I should be paying for this.
