received an email telling me pkg would be delivered next day. stayed home ALL DAY LONG taking time off work to wait. because they cannot even tell me if its morning or afternoon. no package was delivered. no failed delivery notice. no one came to my apartment. and no help from so-called customer service. why did driver not even attempt delivery and has no proof of delivery, but they believe him and not the customer? why is it my word against the driver's? why can't ups deliver packages?

UPS in Chicago, Illinois - Failure to process damage claim properly

Shipped insured piece of musical equipment. When reaching destination, item was damaged. Buyer and seller have been trying to get UPS to resolve claim for 1.5 months with still no payment as of 1/20/2019. Will never use UPS again. Findings from corporate: 1) Instrument not packed properly 2) Damage claim protocols not followed by receiving or sending UPS Stores. 3) Owner of sending UPS Store abdicated responsibility and allowed subordinate inexperienced clerks to manage claim. 4) Once complaint submitted to corporate, owner of sending UPS Store appeared to retaliate by obstructing and delaying payment 5) Item shipped 12/8/2018, Damage reported 12/14/2018, claim approved for payment by corporate 12/22/2018, still awaiting payment ($1,000) on 1/20/2019. Owner of UPS Store, 17 Jct. Drive, Glen Carbon, Illinois, Jerome Kellerman refuses to return calls to me on status.

UPS in Chicago, Illinois - The worst delivery service and customer service!

On 10/17 I received a notice that my package will be at one of access points. I called om 10/18 (Because I had to work and could not call them earlier) to transfer the package to another access point or UPS store because the current one has the same business hours as my work hours and there is no way for me to collect eh package from them (and it is literally across the street from my home, but I work far and before work they are not open yet). So the lady told me that since it did not require signature (why the *** didn't they leave it by my door?!?!?!!?) they can redeliver tomorrow to my address (how about that they should've done that in the first place). Well the next day I didn't see the package, today I will not get that too, and most likely tomorrow! Why? Because it takes 48 hrs to process redeliver request!!!Across the street!

Ups Vehicle Driver Review

I had a driver steal my package yesterday and the supervisor from the local office tell me to deal with it and call amazon to replace it. I call corporate and they explained its perfectly fine for them to steal packages because of the partnership with amazon. No solution even from corporate and the supervisors are disrespectful.

I have had an experience that is unbelievable! I payed 18.00 to have a small less than 1 pound tied to my gate this package was supposed to be rushed air service. I find my little package tied to a gate which tracking said it was delivered at 9:13 am . This is a ripoff UPS don't care and Sears parts said its UPS! Bottom line I payed for a service I didn't get! Next time I will use Postal service or I will find someone else to order from!!!! Never too old to learn!

Use FedEx, a block away. This UPS is incredibly unprofessional. First they mixed up two packages and sent them to the wrong place. They blamed me for the mistake. Then i was given an incomplete return label. Now my phone calls and messages are being ignored.

I find it really frustrating that ups continues to choose to not leave my packages inside my building in addition to deciding I should have to pick them up rather than trying again the next day where I could leave a signature. Honestly if I wanted to go pick up my packages I would have just gone to the store and picked it up myself. Oh, and also, their website says it is at the access point. So I taketake the there. The lady tells me thatthat, that doesn't mean it is therethere until tomorrow. At the absolute very least they could be more clear about that in their website. Gigantic waste of my time. Not happy.

I shipped two boxes through UPS. When I received them, one of the boxes was in a completely different box with all of my stuff just dumped in several smaller boxes. Some of my items were broken, and some of them were ruined because they were covered in some oily fluid that seemed to spill. I called customer service and told them what happened, they said that they would perform an investigation and someone would contact me in 5-8 business days. After two weeks, I still had not heard from them so I called back. They claimed that they finished the investigation and sent me a letter debriefing it, and that they contacted the store from which I shippes the boxes; b.s. I never received a letter, and when i contacted the store, the employee said they never teceived anything about an investigation. They've been sending me around im circles, it's been almost a month and nothing has been resolved. I am pissed, and I will never ship anything through them again and I will advise all of my friends and family not to ship through them either.

Third class service. I am completely frustrated with them. Wasted 3 hours in just talking with customer care. They do not care at all about customers. Actually they do not bother and top of that their delivery guys are pain in the *** I called customer care 7 times just regarding delivery of one packet. And these people do not have any coordination with their local centers and yes they are lairs. I would recommend the readers not to use this rubbish courier service. Its good to pay little more if required but there you wont get such type of experience. May God bless these guys.

UPS in Chicago, Illinois - Must Know Their Place

When delivery arrived, I -an intern- was unsure on whether I was allowed to sign for the package. I had just turn of age, so I knew that I was legally allowed to sign it; however I was unsure whether I could sign for business affairs. While asking my boss whether I could, the man cut me off and started to comment on my supposed bad manners/behavior. I was asking my boss these questions in a language he did not understand; not only was his accusations incorrect, but he had ridiculed me in front of patients and coworkers. It left a bad impression not only on the clients in the waiting room, but I was later lectured by my employer for "creating a bad environment" as a receptionist. And yet, the deliveryman had the audacity to tell me to fix my behavior if I wanted to maintain this job and to "have a nice day".

Driver's are given two minutes per location to make a delivery, regardless of the number of packages being delivered. Also, seeing that your boss seemed to think you were being rude, isn't there an outside chance that you were, in fact, being rude to the delivery driver?
