I sent an electronic circuit board back to Belgium for a warranty repair. The custom documents clearly showed this but Customs charges were added to the package. My receiver at first refused to pay the charges and I attempted for 3 days to get UPS to bill them back to my UPS account. I lost track of how many email and calls I made. I was told it was taken care of but nothing ever happened.
The tracking then started to show delivery attempts. The recipient assured me these were bogus.
I even called the European Customer service number but they also only email and refuse to try and actually call anyone who could fix the problem.
On the third day the package was delivered and the receiver paid the fees, Tracking actually claimed the package was delivered the following day, another bogus tracking entry. I fully expect at some point UPS will also bill me for what is already paid.
Nothing but excuses and lies
