UPS in Liverpool, England - Parcel US to UK. Unbelievable prices; even worse service. Grossly overcharged, twice.

Friend in Gainsville Fla. returned a pair of specs to me in UK, using UPS priority. She was charged an unbelievable 250 dollars for fast delivery!!!!!! To make matters worse, at this end the delivery driver refused to leave the package unless COD of £67 paid!! so I either pay the money to UPS (over 300 dollars now!) by paying this, or refuse to accept my glasses, my friend having paid all that money. No way of sorting out this scam?

There were 3 people in the house waiting for the delivery and no doorbell rang, because they didn't pass at all (our window has the view on the street) and no notice was left. On the second attempt they left the box on the street. This is unacceptable and I would strongly suggest to desist from choosing this courier service. It is not the 1st time that happen and they usually work like this.

Have contacted UPS 4 times to get a parcel delivered which was urgent. 3 times i have been told someone will call me back. they NEVER EVER do - seem incapable of picking a phone up. Still waiting for parcel that was urgent for last friday!!! when delivery drivers arrive at this business they come through reception door and if recipient isnt literally sat in reception they just go "oh cant deliver and walk out again. no attempt to contact anyone in building despite have phone numbers and free phone in reception!!! Totally *** service - helpline great and polite - however do nothing and resolve nothing ans you end up phoning back the next day and the next!!! DO NOT USE THIS CARRIER - THEY ARE EXPENSINVE AND RUBBISH!!! Loads of other carriers which are slightly cheaper but you actually get your parcels!!! and they seem to have ability to deliver to a business and understand that all 300 employees are not sat in reception!!!!

UPS in Stoke On Trent, England - Was promised delivery today 23/11/2016

I am a visitor from South Africa and bought rugby tickets to the game in Cardiff. I received an email at 05.58 to let me know delivery will take place today. We stayed at home the whole day to wait for the delivery. By 18:50 I decided to phone the customer service line and was told that delivery would not take place today but only tomorrow between 17:00 and 19:00. By then I will already be in Cardiff as I leave Derby at 9:35. I am not use to this type of service and as a businessman will advise all my associates not to make use of UPS. MY tracking number is 1ZX0565R6895496926. Now I have to go to the depot in Derby to pick up my parcel....

UPS said my delivery was in transit and would be delivered today. It is now 07:06 pm and still nothing. In fact the tracking details says it is still in S Korea? How can UPS say the delivery is on time when the tracking hasn't been updated for 2 days?I will never use this company again... I recently had another delivery from an excellent company that told me the day before delivery, 1, the time between 12:44 & 13:44, the delivery drivers name and photo and on the morning of delivery, that I was parcel no. 60 and Carl was delivering parcel no. 53. A map of where he was and he did make the delivery at 13:02. UPS really have so much to learn. I will never understand why companies such as Apple use them. Totally disgusted.

I never use UPS as they have let me down more times than I care to list as they are too Meany to mention. Unfortunately my client still send me lots by them. But In short kit smashed into pieces ,weeks late or returned to sender. But what really gets me riled up is when I wade through the phone system to try and get a resolution all I get is lye's. I am a conflict resolution specialist who deals with problems every day with out issue. But half an hour talking to them and I seriously want to start burning there trucks. No respect ,dishonest, uncaring!! To A man.
