I was at home, three men were working on the outside of my house and yet I got notification that my package couldn't be delivered because no one was available to sign for the package. The automated voice recognition system kept getting the tracking number wrong and I couldn't get to a human without the tracking number!!
Eventually, the system said I could pick up the package from the holding facility which isn't open other than during my work hours and too far to get to on my lunch hour. By the time I got a human on the line, I was furious. This follows two weeks after a package was dumped over my fence into bushes, so I couldn't see it from the back door, even though I had asked for it to be put by the back door. That followed UPS loosing a package my sister sent and, a month later, still hasn't found or compensated her.
Since her's was a hand made quilt, for a customer, it can't be replaced. I hate using UPS but Amazon uses it to ship, so I don't have much of a choice.
