A treasured piece of art that was shipped via the UPS Pack and Ship Guarantee arrived broken. UPS did pay for repairs and reimbursed me shipping cost- after MANY months- but never reimbursed me for the decrease in value of the piece once repaired.

They required me to get an expert appraisal which irrefutably proved the value had been negatively affected by the damage due to UPS packing negligence, but offered me no compensation. I jumped through many hoops to file my claim, and they used whatever self-serving reason and or fine print they could come up with so as not to pay.

A 7 month debacle. I will never again use UPS!

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $1500.

Preferred solution: $1,500. to compensate $1500.00 from UPS to compensate for the loss of value of my artwork due to their unprofessional and incorrect packaging..

I didn't like: Dealing with issues.
