In the past, if you weren't home when a driver attempted to deliver a package, they would make a second attempt the next day...and perhaps even a third attempt on Day 3, before sending it to a holding location. Now, they're doing it after just one attempt!

Can't wait around for your package? If you're not there the moment the driver attempts an initial delivery, then you have to wait 24 hours before having to drive somewhere to pick it up. So unreasonable! Another point of contention is the condition of these packages being delivered.

Whether a cardboard box or a Tyvek pak, they almost always arrive covered in soot.

You pick it up to open it, and your hands are instantly filthy. Try harder, UPS!

Review about: Ups Home Delivery Service.

Reason of review: Problem with delivery.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I liked: Delivery was attempted on the day advertised.

I didn't like: Delivery was not reattempted.

Unfortunately I have to agree with you on this. Been using them a long time and I've watched it go south over the last decade or so.
