Don't believe anything UPS posts on their web site or tells you. While it states clearly on the web site that I can change a delivery date, they do not, in fact allow you to do so.
A package was sent directly from the store I purchased it from to be delivered as a gift. Upon learning the receiver would be gone for a week I contacted UPS to request a change in delivery date. They refused to do so as the package wasn't at the final stop, yet the web site says you have to schedule the change before an attempt is made to deliver the package.
DO NOT USE UPS FOR ANY SERVICE! Beware.
