After doing business with UPS for 20 years, I've had 3 'claims' of late payments from them in the last which cost me 6% of the total bill. So on the last bill I sent two checks in one envelope.
They cashed one and claim I didn't send the other.
They think it's a simple matter to just send another check but (a) if I do, the stop payment on the other one is $35...about the same as their penalty interest and/or (b) if I don't stop payment and send in another check and they 'find' the original one, they'll deposit it as well even though I won't owe them that money. A scam to increase their revenue?
Reviewer is in unhappy mood. Please immediately contact the author of this review to discuss problems with payment of ups billing and payment. Ups needs to "i want them to 'hold' this 'late' payment for 14 days to make sure they don't 'find' the check and i want any late fees removed" according to poster's claims.
