I just received a call back from UPS Customer Service (504/244-4796) after calling in about a package delivery that the driver wrote up as no on being available to sign when the office was open and both myself and my husband were here.

The girl who called me back said the driver was already gone. I could go out to them and pick up the package or wait until tomorrow. How cavalier can you get?

When I told her that the driver should be disciplined, she said, "Well take that into consideration." The office was open, there was a sign saying OPEN and 2 of us were in here. He did not come in and did not knock. He did not leave a notice of an attempt. If this was at 5:35 p.m. and he's back at your office at 6:41 p.m., he must've just wanted to go home.

UPS never worked like this before. They always acted like they cared about their customers. I don't get that feel at all after this experience with the driver and customer service.
