I received a delivery attempt notice yesterday that indicated that a second attempt would be made before 10:30 am today. I then logged in today and saw an updated estimate of end of day, after having taken the morning off work to be home at the indicated time of delivery.
I called customer service to complain/ get an updated estimate. The woman I spoke with, "Robin H," was incredibly rude and told me that the estimates given were just that and made an analogy to an automechanic quoting $200 when the actual costs are closer to $400. Great comparison! Thinking about automechanics puts me in a trusting state of mind.
The story ended well, as the next person I spoke to (Michelle) was much more helpful and said that the estimates were based on the drivers' usual routes, so the delivery probably would happen in the am.
I waited a little longer and sure enough the package came before 11 today. What a difference good customer service makes!
