UPS - A nightmare
My husband ordered a horse seat from Mexico, he paid $1,100.00 plus $300.00 for shipping. When we opened the box the horse seat was completely destroyed.
It was like a joke or prank for us. We called UPS to put a claim and they were supposed to pick the package the following day to investigate it and they didn't come. During that day 3 different representatives told me just to wait that they were coming. I missed a day of work.
I called UPS the following day and they said: I'm sorry for the inconvenience and told me that they were coming in two days. They picked it up and they hold the package over 2 weeks.
They don't want to pay anything. Its a complete untrusted company.

That looks like damage thatโs been done by customs looking for drug concealment. It looks like some kind of chisel or flat bladed screwdriver as been hammered into the wooden parts and the padding as been careless slashed. So it might me more of a claim agent customs and not the carrier.
