UPS - Friday AM collection for Monday... 4 days later and still no package

Booked a collection on Friday AM. By 4pm Monday had still not been collected. Called, only to be told that I had not paid for collection, despite having clicked on the online option that I did not want to drop it off with them. When I asked what the alternative option was, other than collection, they had no answer. They had not bothered to tell me before I called despite the fact I booked it to arrive on Monday. Had to pay more money and was meant to arrive on Wednesday. Did not due to severe conditions. Have to see if it comes tomorrow but so far I have been waiting 4 working days and there is no promise that it will arrive in the next day or so as there could be other complications. Never going with them again.

Talk to the driver of the truck and make sure he is not such a lazy, ignorant fool in the future (problem happened on June 19th 2017 between 2:17pm and 2:32pm).

UPS - Undelivered pkg

ups says they delivered the pkg to the garage. only problem, there is not a garage at that address. I ordered 2 parts on the same order. camping world split the delivery from 2 distribution areas. after contacting them yesterday to address where this item was, they told me it would be delivered today. ups delivered the other half of the product to the correct address, front door of home 2 days ago. camping world doesn't seem to care if ups delivered correctly. cw says ups states they delivered to garage. they didn't seem to quite grasp the fact that there isn't a garage at this address. terrible cs from both parties. I prefer to use FEDEX when I have to ship. its a bit more expensive but they get the pkg to the correct place very quickly.

UPS - Worst shipping, worst csr, worst website and worst technical support!!!

I would strongly suggest people, DO NOT USE this service at all, and if you ordered something online make sure that YOUR SHIPPER MUST NOT BE USING UPS. I ordered something from canon usa and from amazon on the same day, well as amazon is, the things got delivered on the same day, however canon, VA, USA used UPS to deliver it to philadelphia and the shipment is now delayed by 3 days with no clue yet (of course not counting weekend on which UPS doesn't move an inch, again, it's not amazon warehouse). They first sent me a notification saying that there was no one to sign, when 1) the building has a 24 hr concierge service who takes all deliveries 2)my wife was at home all day that day, so it was a plain lie. I had mentioned leave at concierge (as they give no other option to put anything in description). So understanding that, I checked their poor website for other options and used change delivery to a UPS center 3 minutes walk from my place. But then I realized that it just added one day more for no reason, now it wasn't letting me change that back. I called there customer service waited for 30 minutes followed by disconnection and then again, finally got through. She didn't have anything more to add but said that you should change the delivery after 30 minutes, I called them 12 hrs later with the same issue continuing and they replied the same. For concierge, they said you should have chosen "neighbour" rather than "concierge" for description if you had a concierge in your building, oh obviously!.I messaged them on facebook and they gave me a technical support number, they also didn't have any clue at all, neither anybody knew where the package is, but she told me she doesn't know the number for a place where it might be (which of course belongs to UPS). Anyway I went to that place as it's few minutes drive. The person there told me that the package is on the vehicle but it would only be delivered tomorrow (in the same city few minutes drive away, why did they even load it if they didn't have to deliver, doesn't make sense, but sure it's UPS). I also checked at the UPS center twice where I had redirected the delivery to (and which the website had never let me change), including a day after, and they also don't have any clue other than that it's on the vehicle. So currently, if they are telling the truth, after 3 days delay and extreme hassle my relatively expensive package is roaming around in a vehicle in philly itself, when I live in the heart of the city with ton of UPS centers around. I am repeating again DO NOT USE UPS for shipping and do NOT USE THE SHIPPER IF IT SENDS YOU STUFF THROUGH UPS, like canon, va, usa did, I don't have any problem with canon though as they shipped it quickly enough. Well by the way VA is closer to philly by driving or public transport if you want to get your stuff on time rather than using UPS if that works ;).

UPS - Driver

To whom it may concern My name is Teri Dawson I had a horrible thing happen today!! I have tried to call every number I could possibly find having anything to do with UPS to try and talk to someone. I have been on hold for as long as an hour switched to many different people and still in the end have yet to talk to anyone that could help me!! Today my 75 pound dog was hit by a UPS truck!! The "new" driver come hauling butt down our little county road and before I could grab my dog he was gone.. not blaming the driver totally an accident or should I say I hope it was!! The driver did not slow down after he hit him., that's why I sure hope it was an addicent.. the driver continued on down our county road to deliver his package and turn around because it's a dead end road . He was driving very slow this time so or should a say at a normal speed for this county road which also has livestock and horses that are free range!! He drove by slowly as I was sitting there with my dog laying on the ground ,and he every so nicely waved at me!!! Now the problem I have is how do you hit someone's dog and drive back by them as they are trying to comfort their 4 legged family member and not stop and ask if there is anything they could do or at least say they were sorry? I had a very difficult time trying to pick my 75 pound 8 month old Rottweiler puppy/dog up and get him in the car. That is a very hard thing to do for any woman. Such a sad thing to know that it would have taken to much time to stop and say I'm sorry or ask if there was anything he could do! And one more thing!! I'm calling it an accident because I'm sure that's what he would say it was / or he didn't see him . But funny how when he came back my way he was sure driving so very slow and waved!! UPS Has Unethical Practices

I scheduled a pickup for a return.(on 6/9/17) They assured me the driver would be out on the next business day, which would have been 6/12/17. I took off work just so I could sit home and wait for them, because they said someone had to be home. I got up at 8am and got dressed, in case they decided to come early. I sat less than 20ft from my front door waiting for ups to knock on my door...Nothing. Finally about 3:00pm, I called customer service and was told that a delivery attempt had been made at 11:30., and because no one was home they would come out the following day. I was PISSED because I knew I had been sitting there all day waiting, there was no way anyone could come near my front door without my dog barking. Secondly, the driver had falsified his report, because no delivery attempt was ever made. Customer service told me that they would try to notify the driver and they would give me a call back. NO RETURN CALL, so I called a 2nd time to be told by the next person, that the driver was indeed coming out to get the package. Well 7:00pm came and went. NO DRIVER. I went to ups tracking and found out my status had been updated to Tuesday, 6/13/17. So they basically told me what I wanted to hear. A bunch of liars!!!

I am about to pick up my package a month late due to the poor communication, lack of customer service, and dated infrastructure of UPS. Throughout this ordeal I have had to hound UPS to receive updates on my lost package, I have been hung up on and lied to by their operators, and in the end I am receiving my package at the same time regular mail would have delivered it. I feel I have wasted my money and will now only order from businesses that ship DHL. UPS needs to either equip their drivers with business phones so that they can contact people when the delivery is attempted or allow people to schedule their drop-offs. Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of sitting around all day waiting for UPS. The customer service has been extremely rude and not at all interested in helping me receive my package. Save your time, money, and energy and ship DHL.
