UPS - Careless handling of shipped boxes

Paid over $200 to ship 4 boxes. They were dumped on the door step with one box busted open, one crushed and one shipping label just sitting on top of the box. Pathetic service and care for customers shipped items.

UPS - They claimed an ATTEMPT was made, even though I WAS HOME

I am waiting for a phone replacement and I got an email this morning (July 11) stating that my package was out for delivery. I cancelled appointments, and didn't go anywhere because I need to sign for this package. At 5:58 pm I received an email stating that an ATTEMPT was made... an ATTEMPT. I never heard my door knock, and I had been sitting ON MY COUCH watching t.v. with my children. Now I contacted UPS through chat, because my phone is broken hence me waiting ALL *** DAY for an ATTEMPT. Well anyways they told me that I HAD to wait until TOMORROW (July 12) for them to try and REDELIVER... Another day that I have to waste... I have stuff to do. I can't just sit AROUND waiting for UPS to show up WHENEVER the want. Now I am very pissed off at the moment, and I didn't even get a freaken SLIP on my door, WHICH makes me think they tried going to a different apartment. I just wish that the DO deliver tomorrow because if the DON'T I'm going to be one PISSED OFF person FLIPPING UPS OFF.

UPS - The WORST

Details
Delivery date delayed by one day. On the new delivery date (today), I noticed the item had been scanned early this morning "to the destination", but it did not say the item was "out for delivery"; a phrase they use to indicate the item is in the truck. Their tracking info still says the item will be delivered by the end of day, but I learn when speaking to UPS directly that the scan that shows this morning is not a "real physical scan" and that the driver does not have my item, nor will it arrive today. So it has. I.e. Officially been delayed twice. I paid for expedited shipping. It should have arrived Friday and will not arrive until tomorrow (Tuesday). All you get is the run-around and excuses. They suck.

UPS in Kingston, New York - TERRIBLE - package keeps getting returned to sender

I've had the same package returned twice to the sender after its been shipped 1000s of miles to within 5 miles of the final address - with different reasons each time. Its been almost a month now I've been trying to get receipt. Half of their online tools don't work and they just make up reasons as to why I'm not getting my items delivered. I truly think its down to the driver not wanting to carry the 65lbs that it is. UPS Singapore are the worse courier company to deal with. I will make sure I never used this company again. Their customer services are even worse to deal with. I spoke to this lady name Anh Pham who was suppose to be the supervisor. I found her to be very aggressive and not wanting to resolve the issue. She basically blamed the issue on me and if I wanted to see my package I had no option to receive it the Monday morning (3rd July). Unfortunately it didn't arrive after waiting till 1pm. So I rang the hotline again and the customer service person advised me to ring another hotline number. After ringing the second number I spoke to another lady and she advised me the delivery is scheduled for today but will be at 2pm. I have waited to 2pm and it has not been delivered. My only option is to ring back the customer hotline to find out the delivery which is very frustrating.

UPS - Just aweful

Ordered tickets, had them sent to an APO addy, apparently there's an issue there that wasn't disclosed at the time of purchase or else I'd make other arrangements. Received several emails of fail delivery and no phone call or nearest drop off.

You are correct....We don't do ANYTHING to find the delivery address...Our job is to deliver, NOT FIND YOU...that is a detectives job. Use your COMPLETE and CORRECT address and you will get your stuff.

Poor customer service

No responsibility can be proved for UPS

In a recent court appearance UPS would accept no responsibility for damage unless I could prove the damage occurred while in their physical possession and that is was totally their fault. That means that their partnerships with other carriers and the US postal service makes claims unprovable. Prove it was in their possession. What if I have my local packaging store pack and ship an item. Can I prove UPS caused the damage or the store? When shipping to another country can I prove the damage didn't occur in customs or while in the possession of a "partner" delivery service? Can I prove I didn't cause the damage myself? Do I need to video tape the entire process and travel on the trucks and through their processing facilities? Unfortunately small claims court has small minds and higher level courts require big bucks for attorneys. UPS wins again. It isn't worth the time and money so we take the loss. I will boycott their services

UPS - "United Parcel Service" a Package Delivery Company that DOESN'T Deliver

For many years now, I have lived in a secure building. You have to use the Call Box on the outside wall of the building to either: (1) call the resident to be let in, OR to enter the Gate Code so you can walk right into the Secure Lobby. For many years now, UPS (Useless Parcel Sh!#Heads) drivers refuse, absolutely REFUSE to do either. Instead, they post a "Sorry We Missed You" sticky note on the Call Box and drive away. I have even watched them get out of their trucks with nothing in hand except the sticky note, run up to the Call Box, slap the not on the Box and run away. They didn't even ATTEMPT to make actual delivery. Years ago after first moving to this secure building, I was told by a Supervisor to go online, create a profile and input the security code so the drivers could easily obtain access to the building to deliver packages. I did so immediately and still, years later, the drivers FAIL to enter the code and deliver the packages! Un-flippin'-believeable! Worst package delivery company on the planet! If you ever get the option to use any other form of delivery . . . .USE IT! Never use UPS. They suck big time!

UPS - Slackers in brown

In this day and age it seems that more and more people take less and less responsibility for their jobs. I would say the American work ethic has become one of half measures. The bare minimum to collect a paycheck and unfortunately taking pride in ones work is no longer something to be proud of. Pure sloppiness by lazy people. UPS seems to cherish this mindset and work ethic. Literally everything I receive in our receiving department is damaged or broken. What can brown do for you? probably break anything you have them ship to you. Pathetic excuse for service. Remember folks, sloppy work ethic equals sloppy human beings!
