UPS - Delivery did not come on initial date as tracked

My package was scheduled via UPS tracking to be delivered by the end of the day on Friday, Sept. 8th. Around 7:35 pm A UPS truck stopped in front of my house. I turned on the front porch light and opened the front door, since I was getting a recliner chair that was fairly large. I went to the kitchen to check on food cooking and came back to the open front door about 2 minutes after the truck arrived. The truck was gone!!! my chair was not delivered!!! I checked UPS Tracking on my computer about 5 minutes after the truck left, and saw where my delivery date had been changed to Monday, Sept. 11th.!!! FRUSTRATED WITH UPS

If you want reliability of delivery, please do not contact UPS. There are others out there I would recommend ( FedEx, USPS, etc. ) instead of UPS. My day ( 09/07/17 ) started out with me expecting a pkg. from UPS according to their tracking system. I received a text from UPS at 10:18 am stating that my pkg. is still scheduled for delivery, but because of a late start it would arrive later than expected. At 10:44 am I received another text from UPS stating that my pkg. will be delivered by 8 :00 pm. Finally I got another text at 1:38 pm stating that a delivery was attempted, signature is required, and no secure location available. Now this last text was the spark that caused the fire because, I WAS HOME SITTING INSIDE MY LIVING ROOM WITH MY FRONT SCREEN DOOR OPEN, BUT LOCKED. I could clearly see anyone who not only came to my door, but walking up my driveway. This clearly was a lie from UPS stating that they made an attempt for delivery. I called and was put through so many departments that it took a total of 28 minutes before a real person answered my call. The first call taker kept repeating that an attempt was made. I got so frustrated with this numbskull, I asked to be connect to a supervisor. I waited another 12 minutes before this supervisor took my call. I explained the three previous texts with the last one being false. She told me that my pkg. was inaccurately labeled as an attempt delivery made and correctly relabeled. She guaranteed me that my pkg. was on scheduled to be delivered that night. When I expressed my disbelief, this supervisor gave me her DIRECT contact number ( 1-770-212-8938 ). Well...my pkg. never came yesterday as promised. This morning ( 09/08/17 ) as I was preparing to go to work, I checked the UPS tracking and saw that my pkg. was listed as being " OUT ON DELIVERY ". I called this supervisor today just to inform her that I never received my pkg. last night. Her so called direct number to contact her went unanswered. I called again at 12 noon today, and finally at 8:00 pm. No one answered. No auto pick up. No nothing. If I ever hear that old slogan from UPS advertising " WHAT CAN BROWN DO FOR YOU? My answer would be...NOT A Dam* THING. P.S. I listed this supervisor's direct number because I would really appreciate readers flooding calls to this number. Her name is Jenny.

UPS - Worse customer service ever

i had something overnighted wed 9/7 to be delivered by noon on 9/8. when the driver got here, the package was not on the truck. didn't know where it was. it is now 8:30pm on 9/8, still no package. have been on the phone at least 5 times and each time has been at least an hour. no knows where it is. i have been on hold now for 1:15 waiting for a supervisor. no excuse why or where my package is. and the driver wasn't very helpful either. every call to ups there is a 15-25 minute wait to talk to someone and then when you ask to speak to a supervisor another half hour or so.

UPS in Plantation, Florida - Horrible

There is a hurricane coming so they put my stuff on a truck. The I UPS app says from 1:30 to 4:30. 6:30 comes around and they say no its a hurricane watch. Mfer why you think I primed things. *** UPS. Please prime never use them again.

A message was left by a UPS employee 9/7/2017 that my package could not be deluveted due to incorrect address. I called, spoke with foregin speaking gentleman correcting address with the understanding that package would be delivered today. Called today 9/8/2017, tracking package only to find out address had not been corrected and could not be delivered or picked up today. I'm so madddd. It was a gift for my grandson. Won't be delivered until monday. I'm so hurt.

Had one package arrival scan in Austin at 10pm. 40 minutes later scanned out of pensicola. weather delay. two boxes scanned in san antonio, four days later scanned out of houston. 1 box scanned in austin 3 times.not delivered, weather delay. weather delay means they can do poor job and blame it on God. just low class people. i really don't need to be stroked. I need intelligent up-to-date info so that I can give real time, critical updates to my customers. I haven't dealt with less informed and more entrenched employees since the fall of K-mart . I am seriously waiting for the UPS blue-light special. oh yeah, no hurricane in austin or san antonio.

That looks like damage that’s been done by customs looking for drug concealment. It looks like some kind of chisel or flat bladed screwdriver as been hammered into the wooden parts and the padding as been careless slashed. So it might me more of a claim agent customs and not the carrier.

UPS failed to deliver

I have been waiting for 4 weeks for an item to be delivered to an address but I was initially told it would take one week. I provided the correct address and contact number. The receiver has been constantly calling UPS to establish when the item would be delivered but there has been no reply. Nobody called the receiver to inform of delivery & there is only evidence of one attempted delivery. I can now see from the tracking that the package is being returned to me. I don´t know how I will get my package back or what to do.
