UPS - Delayed delivery

I ordered a lounge chair from jc penny and UPS was suppose to deliver it on September 5th and now today is September 12th I really needed it yesterday for a birthday present that I didn't receive, I go to UPS tracking and it says an operational delay then it said weather condition then back to operational delay its only in lawnside nj and I'm in Camden nj its not that far away from m, I called UPS customer service number and they didn't know what was going on so I received no help from them and when I called Lawnside the phone kept ringing and without anyone saying can I help you they just hung up, I am extremely disappointed, I just got off the phone with JC penny they talked to UPS and they lost the chair how can you loose a BIG LOUNGE CHAIR? How come it says its in Lawnside if they lost it?

UPS - I insured a TV I had shipped from Texas to Tennessee.

Details
TV shipped was damaged. They would not honor the insurance I had purchased-$2,000. I have called several times. They claim I did not have it packaged properly and did not use "approved bubble wrap". The place I used to ship via UPS did not tell me about the bubble wrap and accepted the package. If it wasn't packaged properly why would they accept it and let me buy the insurance??

Same problem here shipped with all manufacturer contents and still damaged my new TV . very careless with other peoples things .

they should be more careful but they did not buy it so why would they care to protect it.

just toss it around like garbage. they will learn after enough law suits.

UPS - Mystery Credit Card Charge

We have a mysterious credit card charge that popped up from UPS. It has happened before. I called and they sent me from one person to the next for an hour and a half. End result of they don't know how to look it up and it might be an import charge or something international. They can't look it up by the number on the bank that is next to their name. So I am going to call it fraud if they can't figure it out by Thursday morning. They are a shitte company. You shouldn't being charging any credit cards without notify the person or knowing what the charge is even for.

UPS - The worst company I have ever dealt with

The worst company I have ever dealt with. I used UPS to send a parcel to my family in Pakistan for an occasion and that was the worst possible mistake I have ever done in my life. The counterparts UPS is dealing with took the parcel to the address and refused to deliver it unless the receiver pay them charges amounting to £120... This is more than the value of items shipped! They claimed it to be customs tax charged but the customs denied charging any such amount and tried contacting the company but they neither responded nor provided any evidence of payment of charges to CUSTOMS... They would not even return it to London saying these charges have to paid otherwise they will abandon it. When finally my family made the payment as this useless company would not give them any option, the cake plate I had sent was BROKEN! UPS did not accept any responsibility saying I did not take insurance... Really!!! if you don't take insurance they will break your items!!!! I wish I can give a rating of 0. No responsibility, no accountability and no professionalism...

UPS in Orlando, Florida - Knowingly not delivering emergency supplies before irma

UPS had my package (full of necessary supplies) on a truck to be delivered on 9/8. Then they took it back to the warehouse saying it had been delayed due to Irma. My zip code was not on the affected list on their own web site, there were no curfews, and no evacuation orders. I called and they said I could pick it up at the customer service center the next day so I drove a 30 minute drive to get there but then they never opened. I called again and they said it was "due to Irma" and I could not get my supplies until possibly 9/11 but maybe later, even after I told them I have a chronic illness and really needed those supplies to be prepared. I should note that fedex was still delivering today and we have yet to feel the effects of Irma even though it has been more than 24 hours since they pulled the truck with my package back in without making all the deliveries. I know I wasn't the only one seperated from my emergency supplies due to UPS and I sincerely hope no one dies because of their unwillingness to help in the face of disaster.

UPS - Several damaged packages

I ordered from a company expecting to receive it within 4 days. Package was damaged. It was reshipped, package was damaged. Reshipped again recieved but dented. I ordered again from the same company package was lost. Finally found sent to me when I opened package the product I ordered was not in the box and the label had been cut and placed on the wrong box. Reshipped for the last time and it was damaged. Called the company and they refused to refund my money they said it was UPS problem. I have never had a problem like this before and I need to know how can I get my money bac?

Says I wasn't available. I WAS HOME ... Sorry I WAS IN THE BATHROOM!!! CALLED...WAS PROMISED DRIVER WOULD BRING THE PACKAGE BACK SAME DAY... NEVER HAPPENED!!! TODAY IS 9- 09-17 ... HAVE BEEN HOME ALL DAY.. OPENED MY BACK DOOR AT 12:43 pm AND THERES ANOTHER NOTICE SAYING I WAS UNAVAILABLE!!! NO ONE EVER KNOCKED ON MY DOOR... IM SITTING IN MY LIVING ROOM ABOUT 30 STEPS FROM MY BACK DOOR AND NO ONE KNOCKED!!! *** IT IM REALLY PISSED OFF NOW... IT WAS BAD ENOUGH YESTERDAY BUT NOW IVE HAD IT WITH THESE SORRY BUNCH OF *** LIARS!! OMG. Very often I have been home and the UPS delivery guy just leaves a "missed delivery" message on my door. Never knocked or rang the bell. LAZY. Also claimed delivery attempt, and never even drove down my street. Their tracking is a joke. Often it shows my package arriving in my city, then later showing it departed from some other city. And enroute to my city. Also FedEx, and the US postal service is much faster. I will be requesting an alternative shipping method on all my purchases from now on. If they insist on UPS, I will buy from someone that doesn't use UPS.

UPS - Delivery did not come on initial date as tracked

My package was scheduled via UPS tracking to be delivered by the end of the day on Friday, Sept. 8th. Around 7:35 pm A UPS truck stopped in front of my house. I turned on the front porch light and opened the front door, since I was getting a recliner chair that was fairly large. I went to the kitchen to check on food cooking and came back to the open front door about 2 minutes after the truck arrived. The truck was gone!!! my chair was not delivered!!! I checked UPS Tracking on my computer about 5 minutes after the truck left, and saw where my delivery date had been changed to Monday, Sept. 11th.!!! FRUSTRATED WITH UPS

If you want reliability of delivery, please do not contact UPS. There are others out there I would recommend ( FedEx, USPS, etc. ) instead of UPS. My day ( 09/07/17 ) started out with me expecting a pkg. from UPS according to their tracking system. I received a text from UPS at 10:18 am stating that my pkg. is still scheduled for delivery, but because of a late start it would arrive later than expected. At 10:44 am I received another text from UPS stating that my pkg. will be delivered by 8 :00 pm. Finally I got another text at 1:38 pm stating that a delivery was attempted, signature is required, and no secure location available. Now this last text was the spark that caused the fire because, I WAS HOME SITTING INSIDE MY LIVING ROOM WITH MY FRONT SCREEN DOOR OPEN, BUT LOCKED. I could clearly see anyone who not only came to my door, but walking up my driveway. This clearly was a lie from UPS stating that they made an attempt for delivery. I called and was put through so many departments that it took a total of 28 minutes before a real person answered my call. The first call taker kept repeating that an attempt was made. I got so frustrated with this numbskull, I asked to be connect to a supervisor. I waited another 12 minutes before this supervisor took my call. I explained the three previous texts with the last one being false. She told me that my pkg. was inaccurately labeled as an attempt delivery made and correctly relabeled. She guaranteed me that my pkg. was on scheduled to be delivered that night. When I expressed my disbelief, this supervisor gave me her DIRECT contact number ( 1-770-212-8938 ). Well...my pkg. never came yesterday as promised. This morning ( 09/08/17 ) as I was preparing to go to work, I checked the UPS tracking and saw that my pkg. was listed as being " OUT ON DELIVERY ". I called this supervisor today just to inform her that I never received my pkg. last night. Her so called direct number to contact her went unanswered. I called again at 12 noon today, and finally at 8:00 pm. No one answered. No auto pick up. No nothing. If I ever hear that old slogan from UPS advertising " WHAT CAN BROWN DO FOR YOU? My answer would be...NOT A Dam* THING. P.S. I listed this supervisor's direct number because I would really appreciate readers flooding calls to this number. Her name is Jenny.
