UPS - Drops packages next to trees in woods

Won't even drive down my drive way to drop my packages. Leaves them next to trees in the woods. I have a nice gravel drive. No excuse for not delivering at my house. This has happened three times this year. Wasn't even notified package had been delivered. This is very poor service. I would never consider them as an option to ship my items. I would hate to get a bad rap as a seller because of the poor service of UPS. Fed-X always drops packages at my home. Would not recommend UPS. If the drivers are scared to drive down drive ways maybe the should deliver earlier or consider another line of work.

UPS in Concord, California - Lied about delivery

Details
Email received indicating delivery during a 4-hour window requiring signature. Wife and I took turns waiting. No attempt made. Email update says delivery attempted after the window and we weren’t home. Big LIE. We have cameras - no truck even on our street. Lazy driver didn’t want to finish his job. Slackers.

My flexibility exploited by ups

I placed a Amazon order and selected no rush delivery option nevertheless a delivery date of 7th November was given that delivery date suited me fine. Delivery date came and I checked to see if ups had confirmed they would be delivering on the date given only to find they had added a further 9 days to go before delivering What a absolute cheek to do this. Having waited 4 days already I needed my stuff so ordered again and selected next day delivery order was delivered on time by amazon. I guess bottom line here is if delivery is by ups don't select no rush option they'll just exploit it to their advantage

This was poor customer service to the fullest. I went to the UPS Store on Colerain, store #0852 to ship an item.IThe store clerk claimed she could not ship it because she did not have a box big enough. I asked if there was another UPS store I could go to and she said yes at Tri County Mall on route 747 Cincinnati, Ohio. I asked if she could call and see if they would have a box big enough to ship my item and she claimed she did not know the phone number and that her computer did not have internet. I looked up the information online and called Store #3336, where I was told they could accommodate my request. I took my item to store #3336 and they were very polite and helpful. My item is now on its way.

UPS customer service is very incompetent and not coordinated. I miss to receive package on Friday and agent on the phone told me that ups will make second attempt in Monday. I asked to change shipping option for hold for pick up and they said that I have to ask the company who sent package to unlock that option. I called the company and they sent message to ups. I called ups later in Friday again and they told me this time that they will make second attempt to deliver in Saturday. on Saturday I checked website for updates on my shipping and it was showing status out for delivery and also showing that delivery scheduled for Monday. I call ups again and they couldn't explain. they told me again that driver will try to deliver on Saturday. I spent whole day waiting, worried that ill miss it again. nobody showed up. now I'm afraid that on Monday ill miss it again, because I can't be home all day waiting. And I can't change shipping option to hold for pick up. it is a mess.

UPS - Refused to Refund me my money for their mistake

I found out today after using their site to create a label that next day air does not mean you will get it Saturday even if you choose Saturday Delivery. I needed the package by today and created a label so it would arrive today. They said the label was created for Monday because it was the next business day. I called UPS twice directly and the store once. All I got was the run around about how they are not responsible because the shipper which was their store chose air next day for Monday not Saturday and they refused to refund me my money. Now I am out of $100 and the time sensitive package will be destroyed due to late delivery. I will not create another label. Make sure when using the site and the person who ships the package to choose the correct label otherwise you will get nothing but the run around.

Rather than act like an adult and cop to the mistake, I blame someone else.

You told them where the package was and that it wasn't for you.

It's not up to you to worry about it.

Just ... breathe.

You left it right where they dropped it for easy identification.

Sorry this is a bit long, just wanted to let people know how terrible the service is with this company and the lack of anything resembling ethics. The email conversation is below. I ordered a printer from Prusa Research and upgraded shipping with UPS Express saver that states Guaranteed next day service. I realize this is impossible from overseas but I figure a couple of days should be okay. Not only did it come late, the company even admits a mistake was made, but because the package was delayed already their mistake doesn't count. The problem was that even though they say customs delayed it, the package was never opened or gone through, it shipped with the same wrapping the company put it in. UPS made no attempt to correct things other than to say your package is arriving today and then closed the ticket I had opened. Just realize that the speed of delivery you pay for you wont be receiving, your package will arrive sometime. Here is the conversation I had with UPS regarding my ticket. UPS in Hope Mills, North Carolina - Package not deliverd or attempted when it was dueto be

ups did not deliver my package and tried to say the shipper said to hold itat the hub. The shipper saidthey did not say that. then ups said I told them to hold it. I did not I toldthem IF they attemted to deliver today and iwas not here THEN hold it tomorrow at the hub. the 3rd of Nov. DO NOT CONTACT ME BY E MAIL ONLY BY PHONE> I am so pissed that's why upd lost their Amazon contract to the Postal service!
