UPS in Madison, Wisconsin - Delivered to incorrect address
My order was labeled Lakeview Ave, when it should have been East Lakeview Ave. Since there is the same house number on West Lakeview Ave, I called concerned. I was assured that since the drive would not know which one to deliver it to, it would be brought back to the hub and status would be undelived. However this was not the case. I saw later that it was Delivered, MET CUST WOM. They went to the wrong address and delivered it. The should not have delivered it or if there was doubt, check the owner of the property. I, the owner, was the one it was addressed too. Perhaps if they really did deliver it to a woman, they should have checked if she was me before handing $1200 worth of goods to her. Though judging from other posts, I wouldn't be surprised if they just dropped it off. I will never personally use UPS ever.
UPS in Chicago, Illinois - What can brown do for you? Nothing.
I've never experienced the level of incompetence and poor customer services that I encountered with UPS this week. I had a package scheduled to be delivered - no signature required. I left the drive a note two days in a row asking him to leave the package, with very specific instructions on where to leave it. When he failed to leave the package on the third try, I called the 1-800 number to complain. I talked to multiple people, was disconnected more than once and then was finally told he was coming back that nigh to deliver it. I canceled my plans and waited for him. He never came. Four hours later, I called to find out my package was on its way back to the shipper and it was the driver's choice whether to leave it. And there's nothing I can do. No apology. No attempt at fixing the situation.
I will NEVER use UPS again! Those *** SOBs could not find my apartment AGAIN. I even called earlier in the day to try and give directions (like I did the last time they couldn't find our place) so that I could get my package in time. The guy told me to let the delivery man try to find the place first and then call if it didn't show up. Sure enough it never came. I called and talked to an operator that said unfortunately we were unable to deliver the package because we didn't have an apt #--which I KNOW I gave. She said we'll have to check our database for that information. I asked if I could just give the information to her or whoever needed it now. She said she was unable to update the address at this time. Now I have to drive 30 minutes to get my package on top of paying 18.00 shipping. WTF?! UPS get your *** together!
UPS in Canby, Oregon - So bad I cried.
So my boss and me work on a bid for over two weeks for a construction project. Side note in this down economy we haven't got a low bid in about 8 months. We get it completed and into UPS hand with a next day delivery before 12:00pm guaranteed. The bid has to be in by 2:00pm, no problem right. Wrong, they get it to the town and lose it on some belt we miss the bid which would have got. 19,000 low on 2,000,000 perfect bid they cost us 200,000 in profits which we desperately need so we don't go out of business, and what do they have to say, we can refund your shipping cost. F*#$ you UPS.
Today, I was waiting for several packages to be delivered. Around 12:15, I heard the UPS truck pull up. I went to the window, where I have a clear view of the front door of my apartment complex, and watched the driver come to the door, empty handed. I had gotten...
UPS IS BAD FOR USA
i agree with anyone who thinks ups is the absolute worst delivery company on the face of this earth,i generated a ups account through the http://ups.com website, sent off my packages only to find out 3 days later all my packages was intercepted for fraud,it took them another 2 days to figure out their screw up,in the mean time all my customers who track their package saw that it was intercepted for fraud,i had to give them a new credit card # for them to release my packages,a week later i am still waiting for my item to be released, getting A LAWYER..
I just received a call back from UPS Customer Service (504/244-4796) after calling in about a package delivery that the driver wrote up as no on being available to sign when the office was open and both myself and my husband were here. The girl who called me back said...
Took a day off work to get package because it had to be signed for. called at 9am to make sure package was coming. They said it's on it's way. Stayed home all day waiting for the delivery. I called at 5pm said what's going on, I could of been at work. They...
Do not ship via UPS and do not order from any company that uses UPS as its only shipper. Here is my story. 08/19/09 - I ordered merchandise on-line from a Georgia company. A real "air-head" took the order and after 3 attempts she FINALLY repeated the correct address...
$32 for UPS phone call
I had some material shipped to my business-UPS. The afternoon before the delivery, I received a phone call advising me that the delivery would take place between 9 - 12 the next day. The shipment arrived - as promised. Several days later I received a freight bill, which I promptly paid. About a month later I received a past due shipping invoice. I knew I had paid it previously, and I figured the payment had gotten to them after their monthly billing cycle, so I ignored it. The next month I received another past due notice, so I called their office and told them I had already paid the shipping for this item. The lady I spoke to said that she would correct the invoice. The next month I received another past due invoice, so I called up again. This time I was informed that the $32.00 fee was for "notification". I still didn't get it, so the lady patiently explained to me, that when they call you the day before to 'notify' you that the delivery will be coming between 9:00 and 12:00, there is a $32.00 charge for that. Needless to say I was very annoyed, and will now be using the US Post Office or Fedex. In addition I will be telling all of my customers and vendors about this underhanded trick to squeeze a few more dollars out of their customers.
