UPS - the worst!!!!!

I sold an item on ebay and shipped with UPS. I paid for the shipping through Paypal, but then felt that the package that I used wasn't good enough to protect the item from damage. I took the item into the UPS store and had the employee repackage the item and I paid the difference for the larger box and the extra packing material. A few days later UPS took more money from my Paypal account telling me that I owed more because my package was larger than what I had originally said it was through e-bay. I explained that I had already paid the difference in the store, but they didn't care. The item arrived for my customer all broken, she filed a claim and they came to investigate - they determined that it was my fault. I now have to pay my customer back the purchase price plus the shipping cost. I am furious! I over paid by around $25 for the shipping, they destroyed the item and now I have to pay for everything. I filed a complaint with the BBB as well. I will NEVER ship with UPS again! Their lack of customer service skills, care for others items and the fact that they took money from my account while I was disputing the extra charges.

I ordered a product for delivery to my home on Friday 11/27/09 - so I could enjoy it over the long Thanksgiving weekend. The item arrived in Austin, TX on 11/26. On 11/27, it was listed as out for delivery at 8:53 a.m. I sat at the house all day waiting on them. At...

UPS is a bunch of *** They break nearly everything you ship with em. They never deliver on time. Worst of all is the 2 seconds they wait after ringing your doorbell, and you get one of those godawful door tags instead of a delivery.

UPS bad choice for Overnight Shipping

I run a business that ships numerous packages weekly, all of which require Next Day Air shipping. Given that I ship perishables, it is crucial for my packages to arrive in a timely fashion. UPS offers about a 40% chance of that happening, based on about 2 years of service with them. I have since moved on to DHL and Fedex, both of which have provided me with aboiut a minimum of 80% success rate. The savings were minimal with UPS, and were by far outweighed by the devastating losses incurred. For those seeking reliable Overnight shipping, Fedex and DHL are much better bets.

UPS in Raleigh, North Carolina - What can brown do for you....kiss my ***!

I was contacted by a company to purchase product. They supplied me with a valid UPS number and I sent it. They not only didn't pay for the items ordered, they refused to pay for shipping and UPS is extorting the money from my company. So, not only does UPS condone stealing, they allow them to further screw to victim by refusing to pay shipping on the items stolen. They are too much of a coward to collect from the thieves, they instead go after the decent business owner. My company no longer ships or excepts requests for shipping UPS!!!

How is this UPS's fault? The "company" that ordered your product gave you a false shipper ID number, then they didn't even pay for the items ordered. You got screwed over by a dishonest person, plain and simple.

Someone has to pay for the shipping. UPS isn't going to ship your items for free just because the person who ordered them from you is a thief.

Definitely a frustrating situation, and I would definitely pursue the matter legally with this so called company. But to blame UPS for this is completely misguided.

Do Not Use UPS - No Regard For Your Personal Property

I should have known better then to ship using UPS. I had worked briefly for UPS and watched as a driver threw everything off his truck down an embankment in the snow breaking things and laughing so that he could arrange it on the truck for what he considered better delivery. I recently shipped packages that arrived smashed and the contents of some packages smashed as well. Some of the boxes seemed intentionally damaged. As well when I packed some boxes as recommended by UPS at the store the weight of some boxes was beyond the recommended weight of the box. I was informed that UPS would not insure the packages only after they were excepted and processed. Also I had requested the packages ship the following day. UPS screwed that up as well and I was charged a re-processing fee to correct their mistake. I will never use ups again. NEVER!

Recently I shipped a package (6/14/2012) via ups. I paid the total online 101.85.

After the package went out I was charged an additional 98.00 dollars and charged again on 6/16 another 38.00. I contacted UPS and 2 agents told me it was a charged by fraud. No one at UPS has not only refused to correct this but I had multiple agants tell me that the charges never occurred at all. I offered a copy of my bank statement, but still no resolution.

If you usr this company be prepared to be charged over double the expected amount. BEWARE!!!

2 years ago ups backed over my entrance gate. We witnessed the event.

After contacting UPS, a local team of managers came to my location and observed the damages. I was later told by phone that the event never occurred and that their truck had not even been there. I was told by the Durham,N.C.

station manager that accidents were to be expected and that it happens and we are just supposed to allow for it ourselves. No regard for personal property.

UPS's bad service

UPS shipping a lot but offer bad service: Nov 6th, my package has arrived China Custom and required document for clearance. But nobody noticed me until I call UPS hotline. A guy who named Kidson Zhao sent me a mail without instruction. I had to call times for documentation. I complaint to hotline, but got cold word that "it is the process". Times I tracked after that, no progress. 17th, I had to call the custom who answered "no submission"! The custom office called UPS directly for the document. 18th, Custom got document. 23th, a postman gave me package rudely.

:x I have ordered numerous items over the internet the majority of them have been delivered by ups. I live in the country and have a 300 yard driveway.

I have had the drivers leave items on the road, in the woods, in my poll barn in wood shed, next to the poll barn and next to the wood shed. Now how am I supposed to know where these items are and if they are even delivered. Their last ploy is they can't get down my plowed driveway. In WI we get snow and I have plowed the driveway twice for ups "person" and they still did not even try to get down the driveway.

The drivers excuse was hazardous conditions.

I would not use ups if I did not have to. Use the post office

Is this a UPS complaint or a USPS complaint, bucause UPS does not have postmen, the Postal Service does.

Where were you getting the $70 estimate from? UPS Freight starts at a few hundred bucks.

Since it was too large for regular UPS, it shouldn't have been that surprising. You should have asked for a quote before scheduling the pickup.

UPS in Los Angeles, California - Liar on customer support

I was pissed because my package was sitting in Southern California when it was suppose to be shipped overnight to Northern California. The girl on the phone first agreed with what was said online. Sitting in SOCAL. I told the girl on the phone it was unacceptable, they need to fix it. She puts me on hold and says she made a mistake and package would be delivered that day. IT was not. SHE LIED JUST TO GET ME OFF THE PHONE! I was a important package for my son at college, paid extra to have it shipped overnight. Pissed Customer.
