10 days to deliver a package...UPS SUCKS

Will never use UPS (u pile of *** again. Ordered a package from Georgia 10 days ago. Arrived 5 days ago in San Pablo, California, a town about 60 miles away. Sat there until Monday due to "adverse weather conditions". All sunny days. Just an excuse to try and cover up truly horrible service. First they say the weather conditions were in Georgia, now in California. The left hand truly does not know what the right hand is doing. They guarantee 5 day delivery but no one there will take responsility for their incopetence. I encourage everyone NOT TO USE UPS !!!

Grow a pair? What are you talking about?

Just because it's sunny where you live, doesn't mean the weather is perfect where the package is coming from.

25 million packages in the system at any given time, a few things go wrong here and there. Most people can accept this as life and move on, just not you cry babies.

Irish, perhaps you need to grow a pair and realize that youre paying for a service and expecting them to do their job expediently is very well within reason. They just pulled this same sh1t on me, going so far as to change the delivery date on the delivery date.

Ten days is not that long. Also it is not really ten days since weekends don't count. You just need to grow up and learn to be patient.

My package was supposed to be delivered today and it has not been delivered because of adverse weather conditions two hrs from me which says it's sunny @72 degrees. I guess too much sun is not good for UPS delivery personnel. They must have not put the package on...

It's 3 business days from when it was actually shipped, not when you ordered it. I love the people on this site.

I ordered some computer parts for my girlfriend, and it was shipped early. We checked on Monday to see when it would be delivered, and it said Monday. We put off our plans for that entire day, and later 7:30pm passes by and I decide to call them to see if it is still...

The address they had on the 2nd day was CORRECT. No one seems to actually realize this.

UPS driver delivered empty itouch & they denied insurance! AVOID like the PLAGUE!

What a nightmare. I will never use them again - EVER. The driver seemed shady (been reading a lot of that lately about their drivers!). I even said, "it feels like there's nothing in here", he said nothing! I open it up - look in the touch box - there's nothing but headphones. UPS said after a month that they weren't the ones who did insurance for it, it would be Staples - they both refused to give me my $200! THEFT!!! Consumers sure get SCREWED a lot. damned thieves. Never had a prob with Fedex or USPS in 20 years.

It's not necessarily that UPS is denying the claim, it's just that you're not the one they'd be issuing the refund to, since you're not the shipper. Either way, to automatically blame the driver isn't right, it could have just as easily been the Apple worker who packed up the box in the first place. That stuff happens all the time.

Worst Company Out there (UPS)

UPS offers some of the worst service I have every had. I was informed that my packages would be picked up today between the hours of 8am and 7pm. I called at 6pm and was informed that I could not get any information about the pick without the tracking number. I called back at 6:30pm and was told that they would be there sometime tonight for sure. It is now 7:30pm and no truck has every came. I suppose I should stay here until tomorrow and stay awoke because there is some possiblity that someone will come and leave me something saying that I was not available when they came. I do see why these large companies are losing business. Just not reliable and has not way of communicating the correct information to there clients. I would never recommend that anyone consider UPS for delivery service. I do believe the the US Postal Service is much more reliable. Edward Rucker, Millersville, Maryland.

If the USPS is so reliable, why are they millions in debt? Considering not having Saturday deliveries. LOL

"I do see why these large companies are losing business."

They are? Who are they losing it to?...Lol.

Regarding your complaint, you have a legitimate gripe I suppose.

But this happens every once in a while with every carrier.

Truck breaks down, bad traffic, etc. Sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day, as any hard working person will tell you.

I opened what was supposed to be a laptop and found the screen smashed to pieces! Im so pissed right now i cant see straight! >:O UPS better be paying for this or im going to be raining on their parade for the rest of their lives. I will never use UPS again this was flat ridiculous that it took 3 weeks to ship and then came crushed!

There's two possible outcomes to this:

1) UPS will deem the packaging insufficient, and deny the damage claim. UPS, and every other carrier, have minimum packaging standards, particularly on high value fragile items like a laptop.

2)UPS will deem the packaging sufficient, admit responsibility, and pay the claim TO THE SENDER, since they are the ones who paid UPS to ship it.

In either scenario, you are %100 entitled to a refund. There are only two parties that can be at fault here, UPS, or the company you ordered the item from. The only snag you may encounter is that you have to get your refund from the company you ordered the item from, not UPS. UPS's refund process is quick, usually within a week or two. The company that you ordered it from however, may not be so fast, or willing.

UPS did not deliver my packages due to brown packing paper

I used Pack and Ship in Belleview Florida to send two packages to Conroe, Texas on April 5. When they never got them, I called Pack and Ship to see what happened. He called UPS and they informed him that they don't want the brown packing paper I had wrapped them in. By the way, I paid $50 to ship both of these. I never knew they did not like the brown wrapping paper. I'm not a mind reader. So, they decided to just throw them in a corner somewhere in Jacksonville, FL and not ship them until Pack and Ship called them. Finally, 14 days later, one of them was shipped. Had to call about the other one and I believe it is in transit on April 21. Will never use UPS again!

Thank you John. Pack and Ship should have known this.

He acted as surprised as me. I guess I will never use Pack and Ship again.

It's amazing that Pack & Ship didn't tell you that to begin with. No brown paper has been UPS's policy for about 20 years.

The reason is because the paper rips off in the conveyor belt system.

With the paper goes the label, then you've got a mystery package. It's Pack & Ship's fault.

Will never use UPS

First of all, outsourcing their customer service outside the US and then having the representative lie/mislead that they are in the "Americas" when you ask them where they are (because the can't speak english) should have tipped me off that they aren't too concerned about their customer service. Then when they only want to deliver during the day and require a signature and you can't be there to sign for it, they want additional money to change the day to when you can sign for the item. Now this site wants 100 words for me to post this...real nice!

Is there anything you don't complain about? Next time make sure you don't press "dos" for Spanish when you call a 1-800 number.

If you can figure out how to use the phone, you can request that your package be placed in WILL CALL or have it FUTURED. Look into it:)
