Could UPS be a sh**ier delivery service. I've had UPS deliver packages to my house many times and every time they have, there has been no knock on the door, and a lot of the times they don't even set the packages by the door. They THROW them at the door. They've also just tossed items with "Fragile" printed up the side over the back fence. I'm just glad the Fed-Ex delivered my laptop, printer and Genius tablet. I couldn't imagine what would have occurred if it was UPS. They've destroyed more things than they have delivered in one piece. Last time I had something delivered via UPS (Genius Tablet replacement pen), the box was carelessly thrown at the door and it was completely demolished. I can only hope that the darn pen still works. I paid twenty frickin' dollars for it, five dollars for shipping. I can only hope that all the rest of my packages are NEVER delivered by UPS again. I could never recommend UPS for any form of shipping. Don't ever use UPS for shipping anything that you really don't want destroyed.
UPS claimed my house needs a suite number for delivery
UPS's tracking says that an exception occurred with my package delivery because "A Correct Suite Number Is Needed For Delivery." My house has no suites. It's just a regular house. I sent them a message through my account explaining that my house has no suites. The next day the tracking said that UPS would send me a postcard asking for the correct suite number. No reply has been made to my email. If the address requires a suite, how does UPS expect me to get the postcard? Why did they send a postcard instead of reading the message attached to the package's tracking?

Get back at UPS
UPS screws up more than they get it right. I am to the point that if a mail order company only uses UPS I will not shop with them. I have the perfect way to get even with UPS, Take 10 pounds of dead frozen fish, go to ups store, ship package across country to a warm area, sit back and smile. Playback is a mother. Tried this a couple of times, got telephone call on disposable cell trying to contact me. Next time it will be frozen roadkill skunk. Good luck to ups in trying to find out who shipped the package.
I ordered a part from our vendor. Part did not arrived on date expected. Tracking number shows that the package was put by UPS on wrong truck so it will be 7 days late because of Thanksgiving holidays. We have a huge account with UPS. Ups trucks come to our facility...
UPS---many excuses,few on-time deliveries
UPS issued me a tracking number which I checked on daily until the delivery date. On the delivery date, they posted "Adverse Weather Conditions" and no delivery took place. I telephoned UPS to see what happened because the weather was sunny and beautiful. I was told by a UPS Rep. that because of excess snow at my city--the delivery truck could not move. There was ZERO snow at my city and the Rep.(who was a half a continent away from me) informed me that I was surely mistaken ! I asked to speak with a supervisor and was informed that my situation did not warrant a supervisor ! My opinion of UPS is somewhat tainted by this experience and I would never accept deliveries from these people again----E V E R ! This type of corporate "incompetence" is almost what this country expects : "The two most common elements in the universe are hydrogen and stupidity"--
UPS in Cambridge, Massachusetts - Horrible billing problems. Terrible delivery service!
I sent two packages with the option of billing the recipient. UPS billed me. I called them, they said they would bill recipient. I received another bill from them for the packages. I called them again. They said it was straightened out. Then I got a third bill. I called them again. They said, so sorry, we will bill recipient. Six months later my account was suspended for not paying those bills! Recently I had a package delivered to my office address. Instead of leaving the package inside the office building, the delivery person left it outside the building on the street. Even trying to change the address on my bill was a nightmare.
UPS did nor ring the bell and only post a note
My wife was waiting all day by the door for an ups delivery that needs signature. Ups called us the day before. She saw the ups car came and an ups person came out and walked to our door without carrying a package. And he did not ring the bell or knock on the door. He just post a paper at our door said ups will try a second delivery next week. So my wife went out to catch the guy before he leave. He said next time he will knock and handed her the package. We are very mad that what kind of delivery service is this? Do they try to save cost by using this quick "delivery" so they do not waste time waiting for customers to answer the door and sign the package? A very disappointing ups customer.
Online store shipped UPS to post office - lost it
Ordered 2 items online, received tracking number and was told 3-5 day delivery UPS tracking said delivered but never received. Called UPS and was told target has a deal with the post office Post office could not help me without post office tracking number, which nobody had. After hours on the phone and visiting the post office I was refunded the money (in 3-5 working days) Hope the refund comes faster than the package, which never arrived. They did not seem to care about the problem or my wasted time, so I will waste no more with them!
